Fly-by on Newman Lake
November 23, 2008
Saturday evening I briefly scanned Newman Lake, on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, for anything of interest. In the past I’ve had luck there following muskrats. But no such luck this time, just geese.
The pesky thing about photographing geese is that once you maneuver into a decent position, they take off clear to the other side of the lake. If you move to the other side, they just move back. But then again, they are basically a constant presence on the lake, so there will be plenty of opportunities.
