Evan Dyson is a Virginia native living in San Antonio, Texas. He is a photojournalist and May 2008 graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Media Arts & Design, concentrating in print journalism. While a student, he devoted most his time to the student newspaper, The Breeze. First as a photographer, then photo editor, and finally as managing editor. More of his resume can be seen here.

This site is primarily dedicated to wildlife photography projects, observations and trip reports. Evan’s first book, Wildlife: A Photographic Record of the Shenandoah Valley, was a year-long project and was released in May 2009.
