Updates from my world
May 18, 2010
I’ve been posting so many trip reports lately that I haven’t provided many site and project updates.
If you’re a Facebook person, you can now follow along with these posts on a page I made here.
You can still subscribe by RSS or by email updates (to the right) if that’s your style too.
I’ve also done a bit of restructuring on this site and have made new categories for my current favorite places, so now they’ll be easier to sort.
The Northern Virginia image collection is coming along well for the next book, but I’d like to try out some more venues in the future. I also need to get back to Prince William Forest Park soon. If you have a favorite observation area, feel free to leave it in the comments and I’ll do my best to check it out.
And lastly, if you’ve followed this site for a while, you know that I have the occasional interest in tracks. I’ve assembled a little track kit with plaster of Paris that I can take with me on outings to make and transport up to two small casts. I’ve made a test cast and it works well. Once I get the hang of it more, I’ll post a demo about what’s in the kit and how to make casts. So if you’re interested in that sort of thing, it’ll be on the way this week or next.
As always, thanks for your support.
