Making plaster casts of animal tracks (VIDEO)

And for those of you interested in what the final product looked like:

There is a full print at the top and several large claw marks on the bottom region. Can you see them? I can’t tell if the smaller is beaver or muskrat.

Here is what the thickness of the cast looks like:
